The gas station. (Afternoon location)

This spotting location is on a gas station called "El Paso 2000", it's a little far from the aircrafts, you'd need a 200mm zoom for this place.

It's quite hard to reach it, just look for the entrance to the gas station and you'll see a pad for spotters and people viewing aircrafts.

Some examples here:

Behind this gas station there's an Aviocar C-212 belog to the Spanish Air Force. This one crashed at Lanzarote airport during landing and just got retired.

Morning spotting location

This spotting location is for the morning, it's near "El Burreo" beach, at Ingenio's village, here you have some pictures taken at this location. It's close to RWY 03R threshold, so it's usefull for military aircrafts which land on that rwy. For RWY 03L landings, it's usefull too, you can see examples on the 3rd and 4th pictures.

South config (RWY 21) spotting location (Little St. Maarten :D)

This spotting location is usefull when rwy 21R or 21L is active, when winds come from the south, from HDG 160º to 240º with more than 10 knots.
This place is located at the "Ojos de Garza" beach,  at the north of the airport, we've called it "Little St. Maarten" because every aircraft flyies very low over the fence. Just imagine an Airbus A340-642 over there... just amazing.
For more info about this location or how to reach it, just e-mail me on the following e-mail: javierjcl@gmail.com

More pictures taken at this place can be viewed here:

If you go walking to the opposite side of the beach, for the morning spotting location there, you can get something like this 2 pictures.

RWY 21R

RWY21L (This aircraft landed on this runway because it's used by all military aircrafts).
